At 1280 m altitude, in LATOUR DE CAROL www.latour-de-carol.fr a small quiet and pleasant campsite, ideally located at the crossroads of Andorra, Spain and Font-Romeu. A few steps from the Carol, a beautiful river popular with many fishermen, you can go directly from the campsite ORATORY enjoy, on foot or mountain bike, many marked trails.
Hiking enthusiasts will have the ambience of choice: Campcardos Valley, Lanoux, Coume d'Or, Puigmal, Carlit .....
2 km from the campsite at the International station is the famous "yellow train" that connects Latour de Carol to Villefranche-Vernet les Bains. 63 km unforgettable through the nature park.
The most athletic will find within a radius of 15 km of what satisfy their desires for strong sensations: Via ferrata in Llo, Ziplines in Porté-puymorens (largest zip line in the Pyrenees), Paragliding, Adventure Parks, horseback riding etc.
Skiers will be able to discover 9 stations in French Cerdagne (PORTE-PUYMORENS only 10mn away), 2 stations in Spanish Cerdanya without forgetting the huge Andorran domain.
